- Program Description:
- Join hundreds of international students studying at the International Summer School during the summer. You can choose from a wide variety of modules in a range of subject areas, allowing you to gain credit towards your degree or simply experiment with something new. You can take part in our exciting social programme that includes local events as well as trips within the UK and Europe. The campus is on the edge of Brighton, a lively, friendly city on the coast, less than an hour from London.

Subjects include Anthropology, Art, Biology, Business and Management, Creative Writing, Economics, English, Global Studies, History, International Relations,Philosophy, Physics, Politics, Psychology and Sociology. The Sussex system is based around intensive, small-group teaching which allows you to engage with the subject.
Sussex is a place to study, a place to learn and a place to make friends with students from around the globe. ISS modules are equivalent to four semester hours or 7.5 ECTS credits. If you wish to transfer module credit to your home institution you should consult with your advisor. We will be happy to supply any information that your home school may need. Whatever your needs and interests we will be happy to discuss them with you, and to ensure that your time with us is a rewarding experience.

- The International Summer School provides an opportunity to meet and study with people from different countries and cultures, on a cosmopolitan green campus. The University campus is on the edge of Brighton, a friendly city by the sea that could have been designed for students. The campus is a refreshing contrast, set in open parkland, with an excellent range of social and academic facilities. And if you want to explore further afield London is less than an hour away from Brighton by train.
