Program Description:

Edge Hill's home is Ormskirk, a small and friendly 12th century market town, close to the cities of Liverpool and Manchester - well placed for students to take full advantage of all that the region has to offer. Whatever your interests the region offers opportunities for a wide range of cultural and leisure pursuits: live music, theatre, sports, cinema, walking, the arts or shopping. Visit the beautiful Lake District, moody Yorkshire moors or traditional seaside towns in North Wales. Edge Hill has been enabling people to achieve their ambitions for 120 years, and today offers high quality programmes and facilities to over 12,000 students. Students will get a choice of modules with two modules suggested. Each module earns three US credits. All courses are taught by Edge Hill faculty and American students are integrated with British students in the classroom.

Program costs include accommodation with suite-style rooms, linens, and wifi, catering with breakfast and lunch available each week day, orientation, social activities, choice of two modules, airport pick-up available from Manchester International Airport, excursions of one full day and two half days each modules per week and one weekend trip to London (three night stay) per person.

The town of Ormskirk dates back to the 12th century and is know for its friendly atmosphere and its interesting range of shops, restaurants, and pubs. England is one of the world's most popular destinations, for visitors and for international students with its appealing bustling cities rich in history and culture, beautiful green country side, castles, cathedrals, and pubs.
