Program Overview

Program Description:
The Master of Accounting is an evening program, designed to accommodate the busy schedule of working professionals. In the two-year Master of Accounting program at St. Edward’s University, you’ll learn analytical, research and leadership skills needed in public, corporate, government and nonprofit accounting and in financial services. Upon graduation, you’ll be qualified to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has projected the need for accountants will increase by 27% or more through 2014. Accounting careers span all industries and geography, making this degree both portable and timeless. Each class meets one evening a week for three hours. Most students take two classes a term, allowing them to complete the degree in two years.
