Program Description:

The MFA in Writing is a multi-disciplinary approach to the Creative Writing MFA, emphasizing international writing, critical theory and translation, in the context of American fiction, poetry and screen writing and their current and historical relationships to other world literature. The additional emphasis on poetics allows for a unique collaboration with our Graduate Program in Fine Arts.
