The program is an interdisciplinary approach to the study of politics and our commitment to critical thinking and political change. Featured areas of study are democratic administration and international political economy. Professors and graduate students of the program are associated with more than a dozen independent research institutes at York including the York Centre for International & Security Studies, the Centres for Feminist Research, German & European Studies, Refugee Studies, Asian Research, Practical Ethics, Research on Work & Society, Research on Latin America & the Caribbean and the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies.
