- The program is designed for people who want to develop skills for new careers as legal professionals, for those who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of our system of laws, and for those who plan to continue their law studies or go on to "read the law" in Vermont. (Vermont is one of the few states in which you don't have to go to law school in order to become an attorney.) Our convenient schedule allows for full-time study in as few as 1 1/2 days per week. The required internship gives students practical experience in their chosen field.
