Upholding a stellar reputation as one of Canada's top graduate schools for social work education, the degree programs of the Faculty of Social Work are designed to prepare specially qualified individuals for the many forms of direct clinical and community practice, and for related professional functions of policy development, planning, administration and research. The PhD program provides students with opportunities for advanced scholarship and professional growth, and prepares graduates for leadership roles in fields such as higher education, research and specialized practice in governmental or private human service organizations.
