Program Description:

This program is designed primarily to strengthen the professional knowledge, skills, and understanding of the graduate student. Practicing teachers will increase their knowledge base of effective teaching. Courses are taught by full-time faculty who hold doctorates, write in their fields of expertise, present papers, and conduct workships and seminars at local, state, and national meetings. The College of Education is accredited by the national Counceil for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the Middle States Association. The Teaching and Learning with Technology certificate program emphasizes the dynamic relationship between the pedagogy, knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to effectively integrate technology in education settings.
