Program Description:

This masters degree is a qualifying degree for certification as a specialist in the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education (CAPPE) and for clinical membership in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.(AAMFT). This exceptional program of theological studies is designed for students not preparing for ordained ministry. In as little as two academic years, you could complete the course work required to pursue counselling accreditation. Many of the required courses for this program are offered in the evening and during the spring term making it an excellent choice for the part-time student. As a graduate from this program you may find yourself listening with your heart in a counselling centre, hospital, school or community health centre
