- Everyone is deeply aware that medicines are so important that we cannot do without them. Pharmaceutical Sciences examine the interaction between a substance and the human body from a range of perspectives: chemistry, toxicology, computer science, biology and medicine. A multidisciplinary approach like this is essential to the development of new medicines. That is why this Master's programme doesn’t just train you as an expert in one area; as a Master's student in Pharmaceutical Sciences you will learn to work exceptionally well with international experts from other disciplines.With a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, there are a range of opportunities open to you. The most obvious are in medicinal research, the pharmaceutical industry and hospital laboratories, but there are also plenty of career prospects in research institutes and government inspectorates.
