Program Description:

While open to anyone with an interest in the area, this program has been devised as a response to pressing demands from two quarters: first, from professionals, the professions and business, who wish to ensure high standards of ethical practice, and to complement the requirements of legal regulation with those of coherent and consistent moral positions; second, from public demand and expectation of higher standards of accountability and responsible conduct from business and the professions and their practitioners. The objective of the program is to make students aware of contextual and theoretical frameworks in which ethical issues in business and the professions arise and to equip them to deal systematically with such issues. It allows students the opportunity to reflect on important ethical issues which occur in business and the professions, as well as on particular ethical issues which occur in their own fields of experience and expertise.
