- Program Description:
The M.Ed. program in Early Childhood can be achieved by completing a program designed for the Carrollton campus or for the Dalton campus. At either site applicants must normally have an undergraduate degree in early childhood or elementary education to enter the program. The program consists of 36 semester hours of course work. The Ed.S. program in Early Childhood focuses on understandings and skills necessary for teaching children P-5. The program of 27 hours is based on a student's background. This program will include: 3 hours of students as learners, 6 hours of societal issues, 9 hours of classroom issues, 6 hours of research and inquiry, and 3 hours of electives.

- Those applying to the Ed.S. program must meet minimum GRE requirement of 900. The Miller Analogies Test (scores received after October 2004) are also acceptable. Please contact the Graduate School Office for more information.
