All MA students (apart from those on the Online MA) follow the core training course 'Historical Research: Theory, Skill and Method', two modules,and research and write a dissertation of 20,000 words. The online MA course consists of the core training course, a module, and a dissertation. PhD students research and write a dissertation of 80,000 words.
