Program Description:

This programme springs from the research interests of staff members working in diverse fields and from the interdisciplinary frame of mind which characterizes Lampeter. The distinctiveness of Death and Immortality owes much to its being built on Lampeter's long tradition in theological, religious and philosophical study which few institutions are able to match. It is designed to break down the artificial barriers between what are sometimes regarded as independent subjects, yet without sacrificing the academic rigour associated with specialized enquiry.
