Program Description:
The professional Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) focuses on urban landscape architecture, design, and theory within a challenging studio-based curriculum. Integrated courses in history, technology, and the environment, as well as options for free electives, provide a comprehensive professional landscape architecture education. The MLA requires students to develop a program of independent study and research leading to a design thesis. The MLA encourages theses that explore the connections between landscape architecture and the humanities, environmental studies, social advantage of the Faculty's internationally recognized Centre for Landscape Research (CLR).
