- This award is aimed at people who are interested in the conservation of buildings and areas of cultural andarchitectural significance. The design and content of the award reflects the belief that conservation of the built cultural heritage is a multidisciplinary activity that should be studied within the wider social, economic, cultural and environmental context. The course aims to ensure that students achieve a comprehensive understanding of the values, concepts and practice of conservation whilst using the idea of sustainable development as an academic and practical framework for reflecting upon core ideas and processes.
