Program Description:

The The Ph.D. in Education is primarily intended for teacher educators, policy makers, researchers and other educational personnel involved in science and mathematics education. The program aims to upgrade the capabilities of Regional Science Teaching Centers (RSTCs) and other Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs). Through the distance education program, the Ph.D. in Education majors in Biology Education and Chemistry Education will be available in the regions. This program will produce the required number and quality of faculty in science education in the RSTCs and TEIs.
