Program Description:

The course aims to develop a competent analytical practitioner for the modern private and public sectors. Common themes running through the course are method development, selection and validation based within a managerial framework. The course makes extensiveuse of guest lecturers from industry to provide an industry specific experience. Taught modules will provide the underpinning knowledge and practical experience for a wide range of analytical techniques. The project allows in-depth study of a particular area of analytical chemistry and can be carried out either in industry or at the University.
