Program Description:

6-year programme in Medicine specifically designed to teach students the core competencies that are required in order to become highly skilled doctors; A “hands-on” programme: students get a lot of practical training at the University Hospital.

Curriculum structure (360 ECTS) - Preclinical and clinical specialization courses (286 ECTS) – theoretical and practical courses from different fields of medicine: anatomy, psychology, pathology, surgery, internal medicine, etc.; - Estonian language (24 ECTS) – international students have an opportunity to learn Estonian language and the necessary terminology for professional communication with patients; - Practice (36 ECTS) – theoretical knowledge applied on a clinical level; - Elective courses (9 ECTS) – may be selected from a fixed list of electives; optional subjects may be chosen from any faculty;
