Program Description:

This is a one year full time postgraduate course providing a broad academic and practical understanding of landscape design, landscape planning and landscape management. The course does not provide professional accreditation, but it is entirely compatible with the first year of the MA in Landscape Architecture, and students may transfer between these courses.

This course provides a foundation in landscape architectural knowledge, understanding and skills.  You'll study landscape architecture and you can pursue landscape topics that interest you through your dissertation.  If you complete your coursework successfully, you may be eligible to join the second year of the MA in Landscape Architecture.

Our MA in Landscape Architecture is accredited by the Landscape Institute and the International Federation of Landscape Architects. We are pleased to offer the Sheffield Scholarship 2016 to all US students commencing a Taught Masters programme in September 2016. The scholarships are: • £2,000 if your tuition fees are between £14,500 and £16,500 • £2,500 for each student paying fees of £16,501 and upwards We also offer scholarships of 50% of the course fee which will be offered on the basis of academic merit.
