Program Description:

You'll learn about the care and development of new and existing landscapes, and planning for future landscape management and use.  This course will teach you how to manage and maintain hard and soft landscape materials, based on principles of construction, horticulture and ecology. Understanding of financial matters, management skills and contract administration are also involved. This course provides professional training in landscape management for students who have worked or are working in the private sector, a local authority, or community organization.

Our MA in Landscape Architecture is accredited by the Landscape Institute and the International Federation of Landscape Architects. We are pleased to offer the Sheffield Scholarship 2016 to all US students commencing a Taught Masters programme in September 2016. The scholarships are: • £2,000 if your tuition fees are between £14,500 and £16,500 • £2,500 for each student paying fees of £16,501 and upwards We also offer scholarships of 50% of the course fee which will be offered on the basis of academic merit.
Requirements:
Minimum of nine months' relevant work experience. If you don't have a degree, we require an alternative academic qualification and a minimum of five years' relevant work experience. This is subject to approval at faculty level.
International Requirements:
IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 6 in each part) or TOEFL 575 with TWE 4.5 (paper based) or TOEFL 232 with TWE 4.5 (computer based) or TOEFL 90-91 iBT or equivalent.
