The University of Seychelles-American Institute of Medicine (USAIM) is a new international medical school providing the highest quality medical education to students of all levels from around the world and prepares students for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). USAIM is listed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an accredited medical school, and is fully recognized and approved by the Government of Seychelles to confer the degree of Doctor of Medicine upon students who fulfill the school’s admission requirements and complete the prescribed curriculum and the USAIM graduates are eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Seychelles. USAIM has LimitedRegistration status with the General Medical Council (GMC) of United Kingdom, and has affiliation agreements with number of hospitals in UK, USA and India. Our application for the approval from the Medical Council of India (MCI) is under their active consideration. We enrich our international flavour through clinical placements in UK, USA, Germany, India and Seychelles. The course syllabus at USAIM is specifically designed to thoroughly prepare students for the USMLE Step exams and the CSA.
