Program Description:

The Master's and Credential Program are designed to prepare interns for special education careers in diverse, multicultural urban schools.

Teach students with disabilities to be successful learners.

In this two-year program, candidates can earn Preliminary Teaching Credentials and master's degrees while working as paid intern teachers in bay area schools.

Distinctive program delivery enables candidates to succeed in this on-the-job training program.

Career Opportunities

The MA Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential authorizes graduates to work in a wide variety of positions including working in public and private K-12 schools as special day-class teachers or as resource and inclusion specialists.
