- Program Description:
Since 1977 the M.S. in Environmental Management has trained working professionals and traditional graduate students in public agencies, consulting firms, nonprofits, and industries in the U.S. and throughout the world. The science-based management curriculum builds student's abilities and skills to apply scientific, technical, economic, and policy knowledge to environmental issues and projects. Emphases include ecosystem management and restoration, water and air quality, solid and hazardous waste management, human and environmental health, sustainability and resource management, energy and climate change, risk assessment and management, and GIS.
