“I’m appreciative that a program like IME exists – especially the department’s focus on social justice and human rights. I value how the program also nurtures its many relationships to various local community, national, and international organizations, showing its solidarity with a number of movements for social change: immigrant/migrant/refugee rights, Indigenous rights, Anti-Oppressive Education, Women’s right to education, etc. These community partnerships make the department unique and offer opportunities for students to get involved in local, national, or international campaigns.” - Anonymous, International & Multicultural Education MA Student
