Program Description:

The M.A. in International and Development Economics provides the graduate student with rigorous training in the quantitative and analytical skills necessary in economics and econometrics, as well as immersion in the economics of developing nations, international integration, globalization, international labor markets and causes of poverty, among other topics of study. This graduate program ensures small classes and close interaction with faculty. The program prepares graduates for professional work as development researchers, policy makers and practitioners, and prepares students who wish to pursue Ph.D. studies in international and development economics. The program includes a Summer Overseas Research Internship.
