Program Description:

Students in the graduate program in Spanish/Hispanic Culture can select courses from areas such as culture, literature, critical theory, Hispanic linguistics, comparative literature, Latin American studies, and women's studies. Responding to the need for a broad cultural preparation for either further graduate study or a professional career in Spanish, the M.A. is predicated on an integration of literature, linguistics, and literary theory into a wider context of Hispanic culture.
