- This dual degree offers the opportunity to take advantage of course overlap between the MS in Accounting and MS in Finance curricula, and both degrees can be completed in 51 graduate credits. The MS-Accounting builds on your undergraduate education and equips you for the full range of opportunities in public accounting, controllership, corporate accounting, and taxation. It allows individuals with bachelor degrees in accounting to quickly satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement for the certified public accounting examination in effect in Michigan and most other states. The MS-Finance is designed to provide the depth of specialization necessary for success in the complex and dynamic financial profession, including careers in financial institutions, corporate finance, and investments.
