Program Description:
The Master of Education in Administration of Intervention Programs is a dynamic program which prepares one to serve as an interventionist, an administrator of intervention programs, and an educational diagnostician in PK-12 public schools. Significant emphasis is placed on federal and state guidelines for intervention programs, demands specific to the interventionist, as well as administering educational intervention programs and working with at-risk students. Certification as an educational diagnostician requires the earned M.Ed. in Administration of Intervention Programs, a minimum of two years teaching experience, successful completion of TExES #153, and approval from the Texas Education Agency.
