For M.Sc. study, a B.Sc. (Honours), four-year B.Sc. (Major) or equivalent degree in a field deemed relevant to that of the proposed study by the Department is required.
Only students with M.Sc. degrees from recognized Canadian Universities are normally admitted directly to the Ph.D. program. Students with international M.Sc. degrees may be considered if their M.Sc. degree is thesis-based (as opposed to course-based; i.e., the degree must be clearly research-oriented).
