M.Sc. A Bachelor’s degree in a related area of biological/biomedical science is favored with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (higher is preferred). Relevant laboratory research experience is highly preferred.
Ph.D. A Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or equivalent in the last two years of full time university study (60 credit hours). Relevant laboratory research experience with evidence of peer-reviewed publication is highly preferred. Candidates with outstanding GPAs in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent may be admitted directly into the Ph.D. program subject to passing their Thesis Proposal Defense within 18 months of admission.
