M.A. - Honours B.A. in English, or its equivalent.
Ph.D. - Applicants must present evidence of superior capacity and accomplishment in the field. A Master's in English is a normal requirement for admission. Students applying to the Ph.D. program must have maintained at least a 3.5 average in their work at the M.A. level.
Pre-M.A. - Students who wish to undertake graduate study in English but lack the prerequisite may apply to enter the Pre-M.A. program, which is designed to allow such students to attain the equivalent of an Honours B.A. in English.
