Program Overview
- Program Description:
- Students will be travelling the entire length of the program, visiting: San Jose, Sarapiqui area, Monteverde Cloud Forest, Guanacaste National Park, Cuajiniquil, and Tamarindo Beach.
Cultural activites include the Central market, artisans market, National Theater, Gold Museum the Costa Rican Congress, National Museum, and an unforgettable evening at the “Costa Rica Bull fights”. Learning and sightseeing experiences: include Poas Volcano, Braulio Carrillo forest, Doka Coffee Tour, Chocolate Tour at Tirimbina Biological Reserve, guided tour of La Selva, lectures with experts on the importance of conservation and Environmental Education Programs, visit to a local school and voluntary work at Monteverde. A visit to the Guanacaste Conservation Area, the last remain of the tropical dry forest and the historically important Hacienda Santa Rosa,
The final portion of the tour takes place at Santa Elena Bay, on the North Pacific and students will enjoy a boat trip on the bay, and end the trip with three nights at an all inclusive five star resort at Tamarindo beach.

A general introduction to the complex heritage and social evolution of Costa Rica, focusing on the historical development and present day dynamics of economy, society, natural resources, and culture. A deeper understanding of cultural identity within what is considered the most economically and politically stable country in Latin America.
The rate includes:- 11 breakfasts, 09 lunches, 7 dinners.
- 03 nights at Tryp Sabana Hotel with buffet breakfast.
- Day visit to Poas Volcano National Park, Doka Coffee Tour and lunch.
- 02 nights at La Quinta Resort at Sarapiqui with all meals, in student rooms with 5 beds, full meals.
- 02 nights at Santa Elena Lodge, Cuajiniquil with meals.
- 02 nights at the CCT facilities at La Casona in rooms with shared bathrooms at Monteverde, with all meals and entrance to the reserve.
- Entrance fee to Area de Conservacion Guanacaste
- 2 nights at Barcelo Langosta All Inclusive Resort at Tamarindo.
