- The MS program provides students with the means to acquire the academic and clinical competencies necessary for the Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by American Speech - Language - Hearing Association. The PhD program aims to advance knowledge of how human communication works with an emphasis on assessment, diagnosis and measurement of communication and disorders. The goal is to mentor students into published research.

- 1) a completed application with the required fee (see Graduate School for online application) 2) transcripts showing an overall undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75, or an overall GPA of at least 3.00 in the last 60 semester hours; 3) evidence of satisfactory scores on the Graduate Records Examination — verbal, quantitative, and analytical subsections 4) three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant’s ability to do graduate work.
