- For Ph.D. candidates, persons who possess at least a baccalaureate degree in electrical or computer engineering and who show exceptional promise in their previous academic work are encouraged to apply. For Masters candidates, the major prerequisite for the program is a Bachelor of Science in electrical or computer engineering; degrees in other areas may be required to do background work before entering graduate study.
