The course has been designed to provide an intensive and comprehensive study of the most modern digitaltechniques in mobile radio communications, including cellular networks. The principal course objectives are to introduce the students to the latest RF and digital signal processing methods which are used in modern radio communication systems, and to furnish them during the course with a comprehensive tutorial and practical opportunities in the area of digital radio communications applicable to terrestrial systems. Altogether a systemapproach has been adopted which will allow the student to study all aspects of mobile and personal communications.
