Program Description:

IWU students will stay in well-selected German host families where they will practice their German in personal contact and learn about every day life in Germany through firsthand experience. Besides the academic content, IWU Kassel offers excursions, a culture and leisure program, free public transportation within Kassel, health & liability insurance. A special highlight is the trip to Germany`s vibrant capital Berlin on New Year's Eve.

IWU Kassel offers 1 academic seminar in English (students can chose between Environmental Engineering - Renewable Energy Sources and German Culture) and an intense German language course on 3 levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
