Many of our M.S. or Ph.D. students are employed by the University and work as research or teaching assistants for our or other departments. Other of our graduate students hold part-time or full-time jobs working for companies in the Houston metropolitan area. Many large companies have their headquarters located in Houston, and the Texas Medical Center in Houston is the second largest in the United States.
