Program Overview

Program Description:
Our Graduate Diploma in Art History and Theory with English for Academic Purposes aims to help you improve your language skills, together with your art history and theory knowledge, prior to embarking on further postgraduate study. You are offered the opportunity to combine intensive study of English (with special emphasis on the skills needed for academic study) with two important areas of art history (you are able to choose two out of three of our most popular art history modules, focusing on Italian Renaissance art, modern European art, and contemporary art). Successful completion of the Graduate Diploma, at the required level, will normally qualify you for entry to an appropriate Masters-level course in our School of Philosophy and Art History.
