- The Chemical Engineering Department offers the Master of Engineering, the Master of Engineering Management and the Doctor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering. The department specializes in polymer and plastics engineering. Course-work covers all important phases of polymer processing, characterization, and testing. Product design instruction includes database development, computer applications (CAD and CAE), andeconomic considerations. Complete laboratory facilities are available within the department, at the Polymer Institute and the Center of Excellence in Environmental Engineering and Science, all on the McNichols Campus.
