For tax professionals, the complexity of the tax code provides endless business opportunities and long-term job security. Tax professionals can work in corporate settings, for nonprofits, government agencies, small businesses, retail or service industries, among other options. The UCR Extension Taxation Certificate program provides an examination of the common areas in taxation, including individual, corporate and partnership tax reporting requirements and liabilities.

Each course provides a focused study of each area along with common tips and techniques to help limit tax liabilities and ensure legal requirements are met. The program concludes with participants preparing for the IRS Enrolled Agents examination.
