Program Description:
The Department of Library and Information Science offers the MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science), Post-Masters Certificate of Specialization, and PhD, and has cooperative degree programs with the History Department (MLIS/MA), Latin American Studies (MLIS/MA) and the Anderson Graduate School of Management (MLIS/MBA). In the recent perception ranking published by Herbert White, the Department of Library and Information Science was ranked third overall out of fifty-seven accredited schools in the US and Canada by library administrators, and fourth by university faculty.
