Program Description:

The Berkeley Engineering Professional Master’s Program prepares graduates for managerial and executive positions in technology-intensive industries as well as entrepreneurial ventures. The curriculum is based on the T-model for engineering leadership education, with instruction vertically supported by in-depth technical expertise yet stretching broadly to include core business concepts. All courses are taught at Berkeley by top engineering faculty and guest lecturers with industry experience. Students start and finish the full-time, one-year program in a closely knit cohort. They form teams to complete capstone projects that tackle industry challenges. Their professional networks are reinforced through career advising and placement, access to industry connections and other services. The program awards the master of engineering (M.Eng.) degree.
