Program Description:

The Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at The University of Calgary is comprised of individuals who carry out research on the pathogenesis, epidemiology, host response to, diagnosis and therapy of microbial infections. The Department is made up of members of the Infectious Diseases, Bacterial Pathogenesis, Immunology, Joint Injury, Disease, Cancer Biology and Diabetes Research groups.
