This programme offers foreign students, primarily from developing countries, andNorwegian students, a higher degree in screenwriting for documentary and fiction. The aimof the programme is to qualify students for media work, research and teaching. While theemphasis of the programme is on narrative structure in both fiction and non-fiction forms,the programme is also concerned with the effects of globalisation, cultural and nationalidentity, media ownership and the position of the author within media industries.
