Students are encouraged to apply from UK, Europe and overseas but they should be aware that the focus of the programme is geared towards UK and European approaches to sustainable development and is not appropriate for students wishing to study Third World development problems. Given the intensive format of the degree, motivation will be an important factor in selection. The Programme Director will pay particular attention to academic references and applicants will be encouraged to visit the School where possible.
