Program Description:

The Course (which is ESRC-recognised) aims not only to equip the student with a wide range of psychological research skills and knowledge, but also to provide training in transferable and professional skills that are applicable to many occupations. Specifically, the student will receive training in, and be required to, demonstrate a level of expertise in the analysis of psychological data, IT, research strategy, the philosophical foundations of psychological research, historical perspectives, and the use of specific research techniques. Under the guidance of a supervisor, the student will also plan and carry out a research project.
