- The MLitt in ELATE has been designed for students who are advanced teachers of English as a second/foreign language who are interested in advancing their knowledge of the structures, varieties and prescriptive/descriptive rules of English, and in undergoing intensive practice in their productive skills in the language. The degree is designed to train students who wish to proceed to PhD research, but is also useful as a stand-alone Masters degree for students with a general interest in advancing their knowledge of the English language and its teaching.
