- The programme aims to develop the learner's interest in, and knowledge of, criminal justice and human rights at an advanced level. This combines both international human rights law and a study of regional human rights systems with both theoretical and applied aspects of criminal justice, from a selection of courses covering general theories of criminal law as well as elements of criminal justice systems and criminal evidence and proof. The course will also allow the learner to become acquainted with the relationship between criminal justice and human rights.
