Program Description:

The MA Fashion offers an opportunity for postgraduate study in a wide range of subdisciplines of Fashion. The provision has particular strengths in supporting a critical enquiry into the innovative practice of fashion design and manufacture; investigation into representation and meaning in fashion promotion; and the creative exploration of innovative digital fashion photography. Fashion as an object of study is complex and may include, for example, considerations of fashion as style and form; as patterns of consumption; as a professional design management process; as a relationship between the body and dress; as a construction of gender or iconic form.
